Tanner joined Foci Solutions in 2025 as a DevOps Engineer, bringing over five years of IT, cloud, and DevOps experience. His passion for technology began early, dismantling and rebuilding laptops at an early age. This curiosity led him to earn a software engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick, where he gained expertise in computer science, electrical engineering, and project management.

Before transitioning to tech, Tanner spent over a decade in customer service within the food and beverage sector, honing communication skills and building strong relationships. He later spent five years driving digital innovation in food manufacturing, leveraging his technical expertise and collaborative approach.

A natural leader, Tanner has guided Employee Resource Groups, mentored engineers, and led workshops on both technical and soft skills. He firmly believes that strong communication, relationships, and openness are essential to successful digital transformations.

Outside of work, Tanner enjoys fishing, golfing, skiing, and kayaking. Food also remains as a staple in Tanner’s life; he enjoys cooking, discussing, and savoring diverse cuisines. His love for food extends to community service, as he actively volunteers at the local food bank.
